Posted in Events on 22 February 2011
Tuesday 8 March, from 5 to 6.30 pm
The Museo Tattile Statale Omero has always celebrated International Women’s Day and this year is happy to take part in the Donna e Arte initiative promoted by the Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività culturali by organizing an event involving professional hairstylists from Teste d'autore Shampoo, Ancona and students from the Istituto d'Istruzione Superiore "Podesti Calzecchi Onesti", Ancona – Operatore del Benessere, accompanied by their teachers Stella Carletti and Adriana Bellezza:
L'Arte in testa
Visitors can spend an afternoon at the museum dedicated to the art of hairstyling: close observation of a series of heads of women and goddesses from the collection confirms the importance of hairdressing in the exaltation of femininity over the centuries. Starts 5 pm at the Museo Omero.
Participants must then put themselves into the hands of the young hair stylists who will use all their creativity to make this Women’s Day special and elegant. An enjoyable afternoon of aesthetic and cultural pleasure, accompanied by the flavours of hot herbal tea.
