Adults and Groups

Hospitality is one of our fundamental values.

When you arrive, we will explain how this Museum came to be founded, its philosophy and its role on the international scene. If you wish, we can offer you some tips on the tactile reading of an artwork, which you can also experience blindfolded. If you do not require a guide, our Easy-to-Read Guide and
audio-guides are available.

The rooms are equipped with captions, information panels and materials in lettering and Braille. There are videos in sign language and subtitles, and step-ladders for exploring the taller works. There are lifts and two wheelchairs for getting around, tables and chairs for relaxation activities and the “Fuori tutti” space in the Design area for some quiet time.

Guided Tours

For For groups of at least 10 people, our “Images from the

dark” blindfold guided tour presents our most important works.

For groups composed of blind and visually-impaired people, we offer a journey through sculpture and architecture, featuring a selection of the most representative works from the classical to the contemporary periods. If a blind person comes alone or in a small group of up to 6 people including helpers, the visit can be personalized according to the era or artist of greatest interest.
