Travelling section
The Museo Omero’s “Beautiful and Accessible” travelling section was created in 2012 with the support of Arcus with the aim of exporting a tactile and multi-sensory approach to art, conveying the idea of a “Culture without barriers” at national and international level, bringing art to blind and partially sighted people.
It also raises the public profile of the Museum and allows it to respond to the many requests for exhibitions from various Italian and foreign bodies and institutions.
Set up by the architect Massimo Di Matteo , it provides an exhibition of 24 works: 14 reproductions of ancient art works, 8 modern-contemporary original works and two architectural models, all organized according to themes and correlations.
