Aisthesis magazine

The Museo Omero’s talking and online magazine.

“Aisthesis, discover art through all the senses” is issued every four months and provides in-depth discussion on the theme of perception with philosophical, scientific, psychological but also technical articles.

The magazine deepens issues relating to art and multisensory perception, especially the sense of touch.

The project, first published in 2014 and edited by the Associazione Tattile Statale Omero ODV-ETS, collaborates with distinguished speakers who contribute valuable articles to the magazine.
It is translated into English by Lorenzo Bontempi and into Spanish by Elisabetta Paolozzi.
Previous English translators of the journal up to issue 23: Simon Jarvis for English and Pedro Zurita for Spanish.
In previous years various people lent their voices for the magazine’s italian audio recordings but from 2019 the recordings are by the actor Luca Violini.
You can read the english texts of the articles on the site or download the complete pdf of the magazine.
