Aisthesis Number 28 – January 2025

Issue 28 of Aisthesis opens with a reflection on art as an active experience. In the article “Going to the Museum to Perform the Artwork”, Marcello La Matina highlights how artworks come to life through the visitor’s interaction.

A special focus is dedicated to Nova Gorica European Capital of Culture 2025 and the project Art Beyond the Invisible, which promotes accessibility. David Kožuh explores its innovation, while Aldo Grassini emphasizes the contribution of the Museo Omero in enhancing the value of touch. Loretta Secchi delves into inclusive aesthetic education.

Silvana Sperati takes us on a journey through nature and perception with “The Diary of a Rose”.

Closing the issue is a review of Luigi Manconi’s book, “The Disappearance of Colors”, a touching reflection on the loss of sight and the discovery of new ways to perceive the world.

Aisthesis continues to promote art for everyone, where beauty is discovered through the senses.
