Hospitality is one of our fundamental values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you arrive, we will explain how this Museum came to be founded, its philosophy and its role on the international scene. If you wish, we can offer you some tips on the tactile reading<\/strong> of an artwork, which you can also experience blindfolded. If you do not require a guide, our Easy-to-Read Guide <\/a>and
audio-guides are available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rooms are equipped with captions, information panels and materials in lettering and Braille. There are videos in sign language and subtitles, and step-ladders for exploring the taller works. There are lifts and two wheelchairs for getting around, tables and chairs for relaxation activities and the \u201cFuori tutti\u201d space in the Design area for some quiet time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guided Tours<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For For groups of at least 10 people<\/strong>, our “Images from the<\/strong> dark” blindfold guided tour<\/strong> presents our most important works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For groups composed of blind and visually-impaired people<\/strong>, we offer a journey through sculpture and architecture, featuring a selection of the most representative works from the classical to the contemporary periods. If a blind person comes alone or in a small group of up to 6 people<\/strong> including helpers, the visit can be personalized according to the era or artist of greatest interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Costs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Guided tour cost<\/strong>: 5 euros per participant.
Guided tours are free<\/strong> for children up to 4 years old, people with disabilities and their helpers.
Payment methods: debit or credit card, cash, bank transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Booking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Booking is compulsory<\/strong>.
Contact us at 335 569 69 85<\/strong> (cell phone and WhatsApp) at least 7 days in advance<\/strong>.
To cancel a reservation, simply notify us by phone or email at prenotazioni@museoomero.it<\/a>. In case of unforeseen events preventing the museum from providing the guided tour, the visitor will be promptly contacted to reschedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hospitality<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Blind and visually impaired visitors with their helpers<\/strong> who come to visit the Museo Omero can enjoy a free one-night stay with breakfast at the three-star Hotel Fortuna. This is provided by the Museum. The hotel is located straight across from the railway station, at Piazza Rosselli 1, and is about one kilometre from the Museum. You can either walk to the museum or take the number 1\/4 bus (fourth stop) where there is a pedestrian crossing with a traffic light.
