Our staff is ready to welcome you and tell you about the origins of the museum, its philosophy and its role in the international scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free parking near the Mole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two entrances<\/strong> to the Mole, the main entrance is located near the customs area and Porta Pia: a bridge made of bricks leads to a monumental portal in white stone, crowned by an emblem and a flag. The other one is located in the Mandracchio area, close to the Fish Market: another bridge made of bricks leads to a big gate; above the walls you can spot the sculpture “Cavallo rosso” by Mimmo Paladino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To access the Museo Omero<\/strong> you have to reach the internal<\/strong> courtyard<\/strong> of the Mole Vanvitelliana, where there are two entrances<\/strong>: one with a monumental staircase<\/strong>, signalled by an arch, and the other equipped with a lift<\/strong>, located in the ground floor. After passing through the door, you must ring the bell on the right side of the glass door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening hours<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday to Saturday<\/strong> 3 pm – 6 pm.
Sunday and public holiday<\/strong>s 10 am – 6 pm. 1 January 3 pm – 6 pm.
Monday to Friday<\/strong> 9 am – 1 pm by appointment<\/strong>.
From 1 April to 31 October, the opening hours on Fridays<\/strong> are brought forward to 2:00 pm.
Closed<\/strong>: Monday afternoons; 24, 25 and 31 December.
Last entry<\/strong> to the Design Collection: 5:30 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Admission to the Museo Omero is free<\/strong>, except for the Design Collection, which has a tickets cost 5 euros<\/strong>. On the first Sunday of each month, admission to the Design Collection is free. Consult other gratuities on the Ministry of Culture site<\/a>. Additionally, there is a reciprocal reduced admission between the Design Collection and the exhibitions currently on view at the Mole Vanvitelliana.

Dogs<\/strong>: only guide dogs will be admitted.
Use the sanitizing gel which can be found in all the rooms for touching the works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admission is free <\/strong>for children <\/strong>aged 0-4 years, people with disabilities <\/strong>and their carers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
