The exhibition inherits the artist\u2019s continuous production from 2011 till nowadays with artworks for which an extenstive use of artistically recycled wasting matters was employed.
A versatile exhibit of shapes, matters and colours resulting from the eclectic work of the Ancona based artist, set up in dialog with the artwork \u201cL\u2019Italia riciclata\u201d by Michelangelo Pistoletto, the Arte Povera spokeperson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibit curator, Massimo Di Matteo, in collaboration with Walter Paoletti, wanted to homage the freshness of the last work of the ninty-years-old artist: “The peculiarities that emerge from the on focus Papini\u2019s artworks are the unconventional creativity, the constant irony, the imagination and the clever playfulness, with the senses fulfillment reached through the tactile approach. Moreover, it is the artist\u2019s proof of life, considered as a preserved good, looking like a possible and precious viaticum, that moves the audience.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An exhibition where waste and small shards turn out to be the main characters: Papini’s spieces become “the bearer of an alternative harmony or of the artist\u2019s universal mysticism and symbols of a retrievable and collectable humanity”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Didactic workshops for families \u201cRifiuti impertinenti\u201d with advance booking on July (Fridays 22th and 29th) and August (Fridays 19th and 26th) at 5.30 p.m. Prices: \u20ac 4 each; free admission for 0-4 years children, disabled and respective helpers. Guided tours: \u20ac 4 each; for groups (minimum 10 people) \u20ac 3,70 each; free admission for disabled and respective helpers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening hours:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m.
On Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
On Sunday and on 15th August in the morning from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and in the afternoon from 5 to 8 p.m.
Every Wednesday during “Sensi d\u2019Estate” festival from 5 to 12 p.m.
Special openings for groups on advance booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition belongs to the summer festival Sensi d’Estate, that every Wednesday from 20th July to 24th August offers concerts and shows in the suggestive frame of the Mole Vanvitelliana’s courtyard. The exhibit “Animal Visions – contemporary art sculptures” and the museum collection will also be open and visitable from 5 to 12 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each evening the audience can support with a donation the works of the museum charitable association Per il Museo Tattile Statale Omero Onlus”.
The “Sensi d’Estate 2016” festival is established in collaboration with “Tactus”, “Comune di Ancona \u2013 La Mole Ancona” and the ONLUS association “Per il Museo Tattile Statale Omero”.
The works take place with the support of the national civil service organizations “Servizio Civile Nazionale” and “Servizio Civile Regionale – Garanzia Giovani”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
