This website of the Omero Museum was published in 2020; the previous one had been online since 2004.
The Communication Department of the Omero Museum, which participated in its design, manages its daily updates. The Department currently consists of Monica Bernacchia, Massimo Gatto, Greta Sturm, and Alessia Varricchio; Damiano Boriani was also previously part of it.
The website’s interfaces were designed and developed by expert accessibility technicians: Roberto Scano, Fabrizio Caccavello and Marco Milesi. Technical maintenance is currently led by the Accessibility Days Association, with assistance from Mario Spada and Sauro Cesaretti for screen reader testing.
Photos and videos are the property of the Photographic Archive of the Museo Tattile Statale Omero. Photos of the artworks were taken by Maurizio Bolognini; those on the other pages were created by the Communication Department, Luna Simoncini, and Garage Creativo.
The videos were produced by the Museum’s Communication Department, some in collaboration with Gama, Presscom, and Garage Creativo. Many feature the collaboration of Rai Pubblica Utilità, our media partner.
The virtual tour of the Design collection was created by Peaktime using Matterport technology.
The English translation of the website, managed for a long time by Phyllis Ashburn, is now handled by Greta Sturm.
The Esperanto translation, originally managed by Pier Luigi Da Costa, is now produced with the support of AI.
