The AFAM Roadshow Research Creativity Innovation
Starting in Ancona, this traveling event visits seven Italian cities to showcase the richness of Italian creativity through the fusion of art, design, and technology. The focus is on sustainability, reuse, sensory experiences, and inclusion.
The project is led by the CNR Institute of Heritage Science and Rome University of Fine Arts (RUFA), in collaboration with Sapienza University of Rome and AFAM institutions: Italian Higher Education in Art, Music, and Dance.
Ancona Stop: Perceptions - crossing Retro-Futurism
This immersive experience explores Retro-Futurism through touch, art, and design, hosted at Mole Vanvitelliana and Museo Tattile Statale Omero.
Program highlights
- 9:00 Opening Ceremony with key speakers from RUFA, CNR ISPC, Poliarte, and Museo Omero.
- 11:15-13:30 Table Talks on unconventional museums, multimedia design, archival forms, and the aesthetics of touch.
- 15:00-16:30 Genius Academy Lectures (free with reservation) on interactive museums, tech and sound in performance, immersive installations, and multimedia for cultural heritage.
- 17:00-18:00 PopUp Show: an immersive exhibition of interactive artworks and installations blending video, light, and material.
