The project "Adrenalina meets Museo Omero and Istituto Cavazza" is the result of a collaboration between Adrenalina, the Museo Tattile Statale Omero of Ancona, and the Francesco Cavazza Institute for the Blind in Bologna. The initiative promotes accessible and inclusive design, involving blind and visually impaired individuals in the design process.

Aedo: a sofa to explore with all the senses

At the heart of the project is Aedo, a multisensory sofa designed by Studio Debonademeo with the contribution of people with visual impairments. Aedo interprets design as a balance between function, proportion, and sensation, going beyond the traditional concept of aesthetics.

Where to see Aedo?

Aedo will be showcased during Milan Design Week 2025 as part of the MoscaPartners Variations group exhibition at Palazzo Litta, Milan, from April 7 to 13, 2025.

Accessible guided tours

The installation is designed to be fully accessible, thanks to specialized guides from the Francesco Cavazza Institute for the Blind in Bologna, who will accompany blind and visually impaired visitors through the exhibition. Additionally, blindfolded tours will be available for sighted participants, offering an immersive experience to explore design without the use of sight.
