The latest issue of “Aisthesis. Discovering Art with All the Senses” explores poetry, art, accessibility, emotions and experimentation with different forms of expression, placing individual experience and new ways of engaging with cultural heritage at its heart.
Monica Bernacchia takes us on a journey through the Garden on the Hill of Infinity in Recanati, where poetry, nature and multisensory experiences come together. She also describes the “Beyond Sight” guided tour and the tactile tools developed by Museo Omero to make the site accessible to people with visual impairments.
Costantino D’Orazio reflects on the museum as a truly inclusive space that places visitors’ humanity and emotions at the centre of the experience. He presents the work of the Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria and AIfeelGNU, an application based on generative artificial intelligence that offers personalised visitor experiences tailored to each person’s emotional state.
Giulio Segato explores the exhibition “Super Pignotti”, held at the Mole Vanvitelliana to mark the centenary of Lamberto Pignotti, a leading figure in international visual poetry. He traces the artist’s exploration of the relationship between words and images.
Finally, Manuela Alessandrini presents “Corpo a corpo” (Body to Body), an educational project developed by Museo Omero. Through sculpture, touch, photography, clay and collage, the project transformed the body into a means of knowledge, expression and connection, fostering self-awareness and emotional education.
