Barrier-free access to museums and artistic and aesthetic education for the visually handicapped. Third edition
Posted in Events on 10 April 2006
Following the success of the previous editions, our museum is happy to repropose our "Barrier-free access to museums and artistic and aesthetic education for the visually handicapped" course which will be held on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 April 2006. The course is now in its third edition and has been enriched by the experience gained at our "Art Within Reach" International Conference. It aims to encourage the integration of the visually handicapped at school and in society by providing the personnel working in these areas with the necessary knowledge and skills to make museums accessible and to promote valid and meaningful art and aesthetic education.
This is a prestigious opportunity for teachers, Educational Service directors and staff working in Museums or the Monuments and Fine Arts Office and for people working in the disability sector.
The course will be held at the Museo Omero in collaboration with the Centro Servizi Amministrativi, Ancona. The course is officially recognized as is the certificate awarded.
