The Museo Tattile Statale Omero of the Ministry of Culture and the National Research Council - Department of Human and Social Sciences and Cultural Heritage, are organizing a National Conference entitled "Use and safety of cultural heritage. Towards an interdisciplinary and integrated approach to physical, intellectual and emotional access".

The event involves the Italian Episcopal Conference, Rai - Italian Radio and Television, Rai Public Utilities and the Municipality of Ancona.

The National Conference will take place on Tuesday 29 October from 9:00 to 17:00 in the Sala Boxe of the Mole Vanvitelliana in Ancona. It will be broadcast live on the Museo Omero’s YouTube channel and will also be recorded, with subtitling and translation service into Italian Sign Language (LIS), edited by Accessibility Days APS.

The event was created to take stock of the use and safety of cultural heritage and also present some experiences in the field of technological innovation.

Aimed at everyone who works in museums and places of culture, in the social field, in architecture as well as tourist guides and teachers, the conference offers a high-level training opportunity.
