Description

Academy Award-winning production designer Dante Ferretti, who created the set design for the film The Name of the Rose, donated the model to the Omero Museum in 2023. The scale model, handcrafted in enamelled wood by artist Niba, Michela Nibaldi, reproduces the set conceived by the Maestro for the fortress labyrinth where the 1986 film based on Umberto Eco’s novel of the same name was set.
