The Omero Museum takes part in the Networking aperitif which is going to be held on the 3rd of September in Basel.

The event is organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Switzerland (CCIS) and kicks off the new season for the Basel Chapter.

The gathering will bring together entrepreneurs, professionals, and members of the Italian-Swiss community, aiming to foster connections, share experiences, and spark new collaborations.

The Omero Museum opens the afternoon

The event is going to open with a live stream. Speakers Annalisa Trasatti, services coordinator, and Andrea Socrati, accessibility manager, will lead a tactile activity and discussion with participants, demonstrating how touch enables us to explore shapes, surfaces, and materials.

This experience will also offer an opportunity to reflect on the role of the senses in acquiring knowledge and the potential for building a more direct relationship with art.

An accessible and multisensory museum

The live stream will serve to showcase the Omero Museum's multisensory approach.

In our museum, touch is an integral part of the visitor experience—accessibility is not an added service, but a core component of how cultural experiences are designed and enjoyed.

Participating in the Basel event provides another valuable opportunity to share this approach within an international context and promote an increasingly accessible and inclusive culture.

During the evening, upcoming initiatives from the CCIS Basel Community—created to connect entrepreneurs, professionals, and innovators through networking events and activities—will also be presented.
