Bookings open for the new school year

The Omero Museum never really went on holiday. During the summer the museum staff continued to welcome the public, among tactile explorations, activities, encouters with art and cultural festivals.
Now, as the new school year approaches, everything is ready to welcome classes back to the Museum's halls. Bookings for educational activities are already open, with programs tailored for schools of all levels - from nurseries to upper secondary schools.
To learn through the senses
The Education Department of the Omero Museum offers accessible and inclusive visits and workshops, designed around the age and specific needs of each group.
At the Omero Museum, the encounter with art happens through a multisensory approach: you observe, listen, and above all, touch—or rather, stroke—the works. Tactile exploration becomes a tool for understanding and a launching pad to spark curiosity, conversation, and active participation.
The activities allow students to experiment with touch and hands-on crafting, learn the Braille code, discover the shapes, materials, and functions of design objects, and engage with accessibility and inclusion through practical experiences.
A visit to the Museum transforms into an opportunity to learn by doing, challenge oneself, use the senses in new ways, and realize there are many ways to understand and interpret reality.
