Sensi d'Estate, the historic summer cultural festival of the Museo Omero, is about to return, reaching a special milestone this year: its 25th edition. Since 2002, the museum has been offering evenings dedicated to culture and live performance, turning summer into an opportunity for gathering, participation, and sharing.
Born from an idea by Roberto Farroni, Sensi d'Estate has grown over time. Thanks to its unique, multisensory, and accessible imprint, it has become one of the longest-running and most popular free events of the cultural summer in the Marche region.
The 2026 edition takes place every Wednesday from July 8 to August 26, except for Wednesday, July 29, which is replaced by Saturday, August 1. Performances begin at 9:30 PM and are free of charge, subject to availability. Before and after the shows, visitors can explore the Design Collection of the Museo Omero.
The program features eight music and theater performances, showcasing talented artists, different genres, and long-standing collaborations.

The Mole Vanvitelliana
An architectural masterpiece on the water built by Luigi Vanvitelli between 1733 and 1743, today it serves as the city's cultural hub, bridging history, art, design, and events. It also hosts The Mole (a bistro and literary café) and the Lazzabaretto (featuring the Arena cinema, Sconcerti Festival, and the Provviste literary festival). Other cultural festivals making a stop at the Mole include: La punta della lingua, Ancona Jazz Summer Festival, Adriatico Mediterraneo, and Festival della storia.
The Mole is not only the heart of the cultural summer but also the starting point to discover a city rich in museums, landscapes, archaeology, history, and art under the banner of Ancona Italian Capital of Culture 2028.
All summer events can be found on the Municipality of Ancona website.
