Issue 32 of Aisthesis explores the link between accessibility, education, sustainability and perception.
It opens with Francesco Mercurio’s article on changes to the law on deafblindness, which represent an important step forward in the recognition of rights. It continues with a contribution from Gianluigi Mondaini, who presents the School of Architecture for Children as an educational experience based on design, play and discovery.
The theme of sustainability is addressed by Maria Manganaro, who reflects on the meaning of waste and the dialogue between art, science and individual responsibility. The issue concludes with an in-depth look at Hirac Gurden’s neuroscientific studies, which highlight the central role of smell in memory, emotions and the construction of human experience.
