Pubblicato in Notizie il 17 Agosto 2011
There are numerous new activities this year.
Mole Vanvitelliana, Banchina da Chio 28 - Ancona
Our learning service staff have organised new workshops for families and children. These are inspired by the "Piccole Biennali" Marche exhibition being hosted by the Museo Omero in their new premises at the Mole Vanvitelliana. The workshops will be held on the last Tuesday of each month from August to November: 30 August, 27 September, 25 October, 29 November, from 6 - 8 pm. The exhibition is fully accessible to blind and partially-sighted people thanks to the generosity of those artists who have given permission for their works to be touched. Museo Omero staff have prepared Braille translations of all the information provided about the works. The accessible workshops offer children and adults a new approach to contemporary art and use the theme of the body as their starting point. Booking is essential. Activity costs 5 Euros per person. Workshops for groups of at least 15 can be booked on Saturdays and Sundays. Free for disabled people.Museo Tattile Statale Omero, Via Tiziano 50 - Ancona
This year the Museo Omero is pleased to host the Louvre's "Le mouvement sculptè - Sculpted Movement" exhibition: new displays, a new layout and new learning activities. The museum Educational services offer a series of events designed for school pupils of all ages (in line with the new scholastic requirements), activities for families and adults, all of which are fully accessible to blind, partially-sighted and disabled people, to anyone who'd like to "get their hands on some art". Booking is essential. Admission is free. Activities cost 5 Euros per person. Free for disabled people, their helpers and teachers. On offer to visitors are: blindfold tours and numerous workshops on the themes of sensory education, diversity, contemporary art and archaeology. For small children, we have fun visits and an entertaining interactive map "Un Museo a portata di mano" where they can learn through play about the works that inhabit the museum. We continue to offer our free Art and aesthetic education service for visually handicapped people and our "Sensory Totem" project for schools .Internal link:
